Citroen C25 Power Steering Conversion Kit - Left Hand Drive

• Drill with a selection of drill bits. 3mm, 7mm, 8mm
• Angle grinder with a cutting disc
• Screwdriver set
• Ratchet and sockets – 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 24mm
• Spanners – 10mm, 13mm x 2

• Pencil or crayon for marking

We've designed the Citroen C25 kit to be user-friendly, you'll just need a basic level of DIY competence  (but you don't need to be a mechanic).

Brief overview: 

The conversion process involves removing the covers around your steering column, removing your existing steering column and bolting in the new EPS column provided in your kit. You’ll then plug in the prefabricated wiring harness included.

Modifications required:

Some basic modifications to your Citroen C25 van will be needed to your Talbot Express accommodate the power steering kit. You'll need to make a cut along the body bracket and drill 2 holes behind your steering column. Additionally, on some models, you'll make a small cut along one of the lower dash covers. All of these are hidden from view once reassembled.

After this, it's a simple job of bolting in the new unit with the fixings supplied.

Completion time:

The time taken to fit the Citroen C25 kit will vary depending on your skill level, but most customers can typically complete the conversion between 2.5 - 4 hours. 

This kit will work for:

• Talbot Express, Fiat Ducato, Peugeot J5, Citroen C25
• All models, petrol and diesel, from 1982-1994
• Left-hand-drive

The Mark 1 (MK1) has a brown dash.

The Mark 2 (MK2) dash is grey.

On the MK1, the quarter windows, (triangular ones in cab door), swivel open. On the MK2 they are fixed.

Our kits are provided on an exchange basis, so we require that you send us back a couple of parts that will be removed from your vehicle. This is so that we can work on them and continue to provide these kits for future campers. We will take a deposit at the same time as payment, which will be promptly returned to you once we receive the parts back.

Choose to leave a £200 deposit at the time of purchase, and once you've completed your fitting, simply return your old parts to us to receive a full refund of your deposit.

Alternatively, if you don’t wish to leave a deposit, you can send us your parts in advance.
